San Clemente grows cherries from Chile’s Central Valley down to the Patagonia. Thanks to the orchards located in different geographical zones throughout the country, San Clemente grows a variety of cherries that are harvested at different times of the year, thus being able to supply its customers during the entire Chilean production period, from November through January.
The main varieties of cherries grown are Bing, Lapins, Sweetheart, Regina, Santina, Royal Down and Rainier. Our cherries are known for being a high quality, firm, sweet and crunchy fruit, as well as having a very good postharvest condition.
BRAND BUILDING
In consistence with our qualities, we built our Dragon brand in China more than 15 years ago, which is present in all of the main supermarket chains. The image of this brand in Asia is synonymous with quality and trust. All of this reflects the value of our brand in the Asian continent, which is positioned as one of the main markets for cherries.
VALUE GENERATION WITH SVA
On the other hand, having SVA Fruits Cold Storage Facilities in China as part of our own infrastructure generates added value to our marketing chain, because it allows us to store and repackage fruit at destination and permits us to open new businesses straight away.
