San Clemente was the first Chilean fruit export company to set up a commercial office in China. SVA Fruits, comprised of San Clemente and Hortifrut, has an office in Shanghai that provides direct and personalized services for the new trends of fresh fruit in China. At the same time, it hopes to identify new opportunities in the Asian market. Currently, our offices are dedicated to formal trade, focused mainly on supermarkets and retail.
In Shanghai, 30 minutes from the central market, SVA has cold storage and repackaging facilities, built with the highest food safety standards in the Pudong area, allowing us to rapidly respond to our customers’ requirements and generate new business. Being able to store and repackage at destination is part of our added value and allows us to start new businesses at once.
